Who pays for this channel. Watching costs you nothing. Take an offer from here to a shop and buy something, and the shop may send us a cut of that sale. The price at the till is the same either way, and no retailer can buy its way into the running order or up the schedule. Read the sponsorship notice

Coupon code policy

The IAB UK Voucher Code of Conduct and Awin’s publisher code, rule by rule, against what PriceyMonk actually does.

The affiliate networks require publishers to work to the IAB UK Affiliate Marketing Council’s Code of Conduct — Vouchers, version 4.0, alongside Awin’s own Code of Conduct for Publishers. Rather than assert that we comply, this page takes the obligations one at a time and says what PriceyMonk actually does about each, so you can hold the channel against the text.

Accuracy and currency of vouchers

What the code requires What this channel does
Vouchers must be kept up to date and expired vouchers removed. Every card carries the end date the shop published. On the morning that date passes the card leaves every live list, filter, search result and count. It remains on the shop’s own page for 21 days, struck through and labelled off air, and is then unpublished by a scheduled job.
Key terms must be immediately visible; all other terms readily accessible. The end date and the principal conditions are printed as plain text beside every offer and are never hidden behind a tap, at any screen width. The longer detail — the shop’s own terms, the mechanism, the sponsorship line — sits in a See Details expander on the same card.
The mechanism must be clear: code or no code. Cards needing a code show a masked code and a reveal control. Cards needing none say “no code needed” on the control itself. The two are never mixed up to inflate a count of codes.
Metatags and keywords must not generate misleading search results. Page titles and descriptions are generated from real published counts and the shop’s own best live offer. No page claims an offer, a discount or a figure it is not showing. Expired offers are marked noindex.

Sourcing and consent

What the code requires What this channel does
Only publish vouchers the advertiser has made available for publication. Every code comes from the retailer’s own affiliate feed. We do not copy from other coupon sites, buy lists, or publish codes a shop meant for a closed audience. Feed rows flagged as not for public use are dropped.
Do not guess, generate or brute-force codes. We never do. Where a feed supplies a masked code, it is republished as an offer with no code or not republished at all; the missing characters are never invented.
Respect advertiser restrictions on territory and audience. Only promotions marked as open to the United States are carried, and anything priced in a currency other than the dollar is dropped.

Disclosure of the commercial relationship

What the code requires What this channel does
Disclose the affiliate relationship clearly and prominently. A sponsorship notice sits in the channel bar on every page, a second line appears above every list of offers, the footer repeats it, and the full explanation is on the sponsorship notice page.
Outbound affiliate links must be marked. Every outbound link carries rel="nofollow sponsored noopener".
The consumer must know what an action will do before taking it. Under every control is a line stating, in advance, that pressing it puts the code on screen and opens the shop in a new tab.

Awin Code of Conduct — publisher obligations

Rule What this channel does
Rule 6 — restricted sectors. Vaping and tobacco, cannabis and CBD, adult goods, gambling, weapons, prescription medicine and high-cost credit are excluded when the line-up is built and swept for again by keyword across every shop name, domain, offer title, description and terms field before publication. The sweep before this channel went live returned nothing.
Rule 8 — accurate and current information. Every figure on this site is counted in PHP from what is published. There are no ratings, no shopper counts, no testimonials, no invented prices and no “verified today” badge. Where we describe our checking, we describe what actually happens.
Brand and trademark use. Shop names are used only to identify whose offer is whose. The mark beside a shop’s name is our own typographic setting of that name in this channel’s typeface; no retailer’s logo is reproduced anywhere on this site.
No cookie stuffing, no forced clicks, no adware. A tracking link is only ever followed by a deliberate press on a control that has already said what it will do. There are no auto-redirects, no pop-unders, no toolbar and no extension.

FTC disclosure guidance

US law requires a material connection between an endorser and a seller to be disclosed clearly, conspicuously and close to the recommendation. The notice under the channel bar, the line above each list and the statement on every card are placed to satisfy that standard on a phone as well as a desktop.

Holding us to it

If any card on this channel falls short of the above, write to the desk and quote the page. It is read the same working day and corrected or pulled. Complaints can also be taken to the affiliate network that runs the shop’s programme, and we will not contest a network’s finding.
