This notice explains what PriceyMonk collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it corrected or deleted. It applies to priceymonk.com. The person accountable for it is Nimra Suhaib, 2110 Rockport St, Windsor, Ontario, Canada, reachable at nimra@priceymonk.com.
What we hold

That is the complete list. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag, no fingerprinting and no data broker anywhere in this site.
What we never hold
We never see your payment details, your basket or what you bought. Purchases happen on the shop’s own site, under the shop’s own privacy policy. What reaches us from an affiliate network is a count of sales and an amount of commission, with no identity attached to either.
The legal basis
The newsletter runs on your consent, withdrawable in one click from any email. Answering your message and keeping server logs rest on legitimate interests — replying to correspondence and keeping the site up — which we consider does not override your rights, given how little is involved.
Who else is in the picture
- The hosting company stores the site and its logs on our instruction.
- The email service that carries a reply to you or a message to us.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces and logs the request in the ordinary way. No cookie is set.
- Affiliate networks and shops, once you follow an offer and leave. From that moment their notices apply, not ours. See the cookie preferences page.
Nothing is ever sold, rented or handed over for anybody else’s marketing.
Where it lives
The site is hosted in the European Union and messages may be read from Canada. Where personal data moves between jurisdictions it is covered by the standard contractual clauses the providers publish.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it corrected, ask for it deleted, object to our holding it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it. Write to nimra@priceymonk.com and you will get an answer inside thirty days, without charge. If the answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to your data protection authority: in Canada the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office, in the EU your national supervisory authority.
Readers in California may ask what categories of personal information have been collected and ask for deletion, and may exercise the right to opt out of sale or sharing — though there is nothing to opt out of, because we do neither.
Children
This channel is aimed at adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and it will be deleted.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Administrative access is limited to the owner. Newsletter addresses and contact messages are held inside the site’s own database rather than passed to a third-party marketing platform.
Changes
If this notice changes, the revised version is published here with a new date. A change that materially affects you will be announced on the site rather than slipped in quietly.
